In 2020, Kanye and adidas debuted the Yeezy Quantum as the first-ever basketball shoe by Ye, and later, introduced the Yeezy Basketball Knit to much fanfare as its comfort, capability, and style isn’t lost on athletes looking for an edge on—and off—the court. The shoe features a Primeknit upper in a 3D Slate Azure hue and a high-top black ankle collar lifted from the adidas N3XT L3V3L. Adidas’s Boost cushioning is encased within the semi-translucent midsole.
