The Nike Air Griffey Max 1 “Los Angeles” is a West Coast inspired colorway of Ken Griffey Jr.’s former signature shoe that honors the Los Angeles Rams, Dodgers, and Lakers. Inspired by California’s top sports teams, the “Los Angeles” Air Griffey Max 1 features a black synthetic nubuck overlay with a neoprene bootie sleeve. The team colors of the Rams, Dodgers, and Lakers are found around the sides of the shoe. Purple embroidered Swoosh logos appear on the toe and heel. Griffey’s former “24” jersey number with the Seattle Mariners baseball team appears in purple on the side of the adjustable strap on the collar. Purple panels appear above the visible Air cushioning in the white foam midsole.
